About Me – Dave stather
I have more than thirty years’ experience of using and supporting computers and over ten years in a training capacity. I have worked for a variety of organisations as a trainer/tutor including:

Why I do this?
Quite simple really – I like to help people! To see them succeed and improve their skills which can be very rewarding and on a personal level gives me a great deal of pleasure.
I’ve helped many individuals and home users to discover what will work for them, and to implement it with cost-efficiency and a friendly approach.
Technology for Mere Mortals!
Although I have used computers for many years and I build and offer support , the learning process never stops. There is always a new program or piece of hardware that comes along that everyone wants. Sometimes it can be a real challenge to keep up! I can appreciate what less experienced people go through as I have been there!

Many years ago I got the Internet bug and became interested in learning about web design. My experience includes the development of the first website for Computer Repair Bolton back in 1997 and more recently I helped build sites for several voluntary sector organisations.
