Get Online Week

News

This year, Get online week takes place from 30 October to 6 November, and it’s all about giving an hour, or spending an hour…

With the clocks going back on Sunday 30 October, everyone across the UK has a spare hour – and we want them to use it online!

Together with Race Online and the BBC, we’ll be encouraging offliners to spend an hour giving the internet a go at our local event.

It’s the fifth year of the Get online week campaign, and there will more than 2,000 events across the country, helping tens of thousands of people to get to grips with computers and the internet.

Why not come along to our event and bring a friend or family member you feel will benefit from our help. There will be 6 sessions running every day for the whole week in a friendly relaxed class. Drinks and good company provided free

Free Training for All

News

Our Give an Hour event last week was a huge success, it was aimed at the over 50′s encouraging anyone wanting to take their first steps using the computer and internet.  We offered them free taster sessions, giving them the confidence to try and pursue it further.  We have now teamed up with UKOnline, a charity which offers free computer and internet training to anyone within the UK.  We can now offer free short courses to anyone, any age covering topics such as Computer & Internet Basics, Shopping & Banking Online, Exploring Hobbies & Interests, Job Hunting & Interview Techniques and much more.  Why not come along and talk to us
